Postural Therapy

How It Works

Initial appointment is 1 1/2-2 hours. Each subsequent appointments are in 1-hour increments. Work one-on-one with a Certified Postural Alignment Specialist trained by The Egoscue University. Postural Alignment Therapy progressively changes your posture with each session. Each session will include postural, functional, and gait evaluations to help create a personalized exercise program which you will be taken through to ensure you can confidently do on your own.

Therapy sessions are by appointment only.

During Your Session

What to expect:

• Plan on spending 1 1/2 hours. Each additional appointments are in 1-hour
• We will take 4 digital photos (front, back, left, right)
• Test your functional capacity (using functional tests)
• Gait analysis (the way you currently walk)
• Design and implement your personalized postural exercise program

What to wear:

• T-shirt, tank top, or sports bra
• Shorts, comfortable pants or sweatpants (pants must be able to pull-up pass your knees)
• Light clothing preferred when taking photos
• Tennis shoes

What you will receive:

• A printed personalized exercise program
• Digital printout of your posture
• Equipment if needed (optional)
• A better understanding of your posture
